Lots of good work this week! Our friend Cassimi will be baptized next week! Let me tell you about Cassimi He was a reference from Facebook that we received a month ago.  We had contacted him a bunch of times but had never responded so we dropped him for a bit.  2 weeks ago we were inviting all of our contacts to church for general conference somehow Cassimi  made it on the list and he came to church!   The next day we planned to go by his house and teach him the gospel.  We went by and taught him and he loved listening with us.  He even accepted a baptismal date on the first lesson.  As we go on teaching him throughout the week, we find out that he doesn't have a job because the factory in which he worked has burned down.  At the time he was staying with his friends in an apartment.  He told us later that his friends left the country.  Cassimi was all alone. No job, family nor friends.   He said that for several wee...

Wepa! These past 2 weeks have been lit.  Working pila duro tu sabes Last week we had a MLC in president's house!  Sister Chaverri made us breakfast and lunch, while President poured some facts and Wisdom upon us. We had Interviews 2 weeks in a row because one of our missionaries begged the President for another interview and so he decided to do interviews with the whole zone lol. We also had zone council, very spiritual.  Amen I ate a chickens kidney this week I love patimongo  This member lady gave us water to drink that she washed her fruits and vegetables in.   I have no time to write this.. -comp was sick this week so that was a little tough. - Had a little zone p-day,  we played Basketball in the rain and had a lit bbq - We baptized René!  He's a literal champ.  He stopped Coffee and other bad things to be able to get baptized on Saturday. It was one of my favourite baptisms ever.  René stands up after getting baptized and gave everybody his testimony about the comforting feelings of the Holy Ghost and the love he's felt from the church.  He later told me that he wants to be the next Elders Quorum President jaja.  And he could totally do it.   -Also after getting baptized we had a little lesson and we talked about how he felt, and how he can feel these feelings every time he takes the sacrament.   -next week a general 70 will come We need your prayers for Angel, Eddie and Eliel.  They are supposed to get baptized this week but they have some problems.  I've really come to the...

Week 60: Lit week! We had 2 exchanges and we were going to have the baptisms of Eliel and Angel, but we didn't because  they aren't ready yet  to get baptized yet.  Rene got confirmed this week because he missed church last week.  This was Squires' last week in the mision so he told all of his friends that he used to teach, to come to church for his last Sunday and they all came!  There were lots of investigators in church that day and it was lit! Week 61: Squires last p-day on the mission so we went crazy buying a bunch of Dominican stuff. We had Interviews with President.  It was a good experience and he helped me a lot with some questions I had. Later we had 2 more exchanges and then we had a baptism! Our friend Eddie got baptized,  a little story,  10 minutes before his baptism he calls us and tells us that his mom said he can't get baptized, so we run over to his house and talk with his mom.  She tells us that "he is a spoile...
