Week 75










 Merry Christmas!


I just wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and I wanted to express my gratitude for my Savior for coming here to the earth to love suffer die and resurrect for me! I love my Savior with all my heart and I'm more than grateful to be able to serve him full time for 2 whole years!

This week we had a Christmas meeting with a couple zones and President Chaverri shared a ton of scriptures about the birth and ministry of Jesus Christ.  It was really powerful.

This Christmas I invite you all to remember your Savior and remember his birth his life and his atonement.  I promise that as you study the life of your Savior, you will get to know him and feel his love that he has for you. You can't serve someone that you don't know! 
 
Isaiah 53:5
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Mosiah 3:7
7 And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people

Alma 7:12
12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.

He knows how to succor us because he felt it all,  he even knows what it's like to sin because at the end the Holy Ghost was withdrawn from him

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Jesus, the only perfect and just person to ever walk the earth, suffered more than you and I.  This Christmas offers us his life, his peace and healing

Mathew 11:28
¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

He is the only one who can give us rest because he was the only one who never had rest.

This Christmas I remember him, and I give him my pride, my will and the credit for all my success

Week 57

   This is gonna be a long one... This week was very busy.. Monday was pretty normal.  Tuesday we had Zone Conference and I got to direct the meeting which was pretty cool.   Wednesday we had Zone Council. My companion and I taught our zone about the things we learned in MLC last week.  After that we had exchanges with La Victoria. I went with Elder Mortensen. Lit exchange, we had fun out there.   Thursday we exchanged back and we had some really long morning lessons.  We didn't get back  until 2pm  (lunch is  from 12-2:30 ). So we only had lunch for 20 minutes until we had to go to work again. Later that night the APs text us and tell us that the President wanted to do MLC AGAIN on Friday.   It was a pretty good MLC. We made good plans for our Zone. Then Pres bought us all Wendys🤝. Pres left early from The meeting and all of us debated about changing P-day and weekly planning day. It was pretty dope. Week 47

  Wepa! Lots of contacting this week A lot of our old friends that were progressing towards baptism stopped progressing.  So that sucks.  But it's ok because we found a few diamonds in the rough this week!   Thanks to everybody who wished me a happy birthday last week it really meant a lot to me!  This birthday was really good.  I ate a dozen krispy kreme donuts and some hamburgers🙌🙌. We got robbed again!!  Homie just keeps playing with us.  This time he took my phone and some other stuff from the other missionaries.  That's the 4th time this has happened lol. Ricardo could not get baptized this week but we're getting there!! I took a bunch of  pictures this week but the phone got robbed so they got lost. We're going to the temple this week!
