Week 70
This week was lit!
I want to first off thank everyone who responds to my emails. I'm too lazy to respond back but I read them all.
My comp and I got smacked by a 2 year old (Carolinas kid) Homie gave me a left hook to the head in the middle of the prayer and smacked my comps balls. He's a wild one.
Friday and Saturday this country got sneak attacked with a hurricane.
My comp and I caught some 10 y/o vaping in the church because 2 little girls snitched on them. That also made me realize that every time I got in trouble in school was probably from 2 little bratty girls.
Friday night an old member named Juan left with us for an 1 1/2 in the middle of the rain. Home is 70 years old and he was being a beast helping the missionaries with a little umbrella and a shower cap on his head. Big respect for Juan, while he was walking with us he kept saying "yo soy lo más fuerte!" I am the strongest one! And it's true he is the strongest one.
On Saturday it rained even harder and a bunch of houses got completely flooded and the streets looked like you could white water raft on them. My comp and I walked around with put little umbrellas acting like we were wilderness explorers catching Domicinans drinking at 3 in the afternoon. Dominicans are the weirdest people ever they find every excuse to get drunk, so when it started to rain everybody knew that it was time to get drunk. Interesting site.
Nicolas got baptized this week! He was somebody that we found and put on baptismal date, who lived on the border of our area and the sisters area. The sisters got mad at us because thats what they do so we let them finish teaching and baptize him. The picture below is when Nicolas stood up at the end of his baptism and gave a speech, it was the funniest thing ever. Then after I asked him how he felt and he told me "like a millionaire!!" He's a funny guy.
During the baptism the Bishop of our ward said the n word just put of nowhere
Anyways next week we are going to marry Alan and Vanesa, to baptize them this next Saturday! Also our friend Bicose will get baptized Saturday. So pray for them!
Deuces, Elder LaBass
