Week 37
Saludos!!
Happy Easter! (yesterday) hope you all had a great week focused on Christ! This week I studied a lot about the final week of the life of Jesus. I learned a lot about the miracles he performed, the acts of service and especially about his suffering in the garden of Gethsemane
21 And he cometh into the world that he may save all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of Adam.
The thought that he paid for all of my pains, comforteth my soul. There is someone in my life who died for me! And he didn't just die but he lived and conquered death!
8 But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.
9 He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death.
We had 2 English lessons this week which was really weird because I kept saying words in Spanish without knowing and it didn't make sense when I talked Jaja.
One of those lessons was with our friend Cristian, he's a gamer, and has been a gamer for 15 years and he learned a lot of English from that. Christians had a problem with drinking and drugs for about 10 years now. He wanted to change so badly but he didn't know how. So the missionaries before me taught him about Jesus Christ and how we can change through him. He now has a job and has reduced his alcohol intake tremendously. He's got a long way to go but through Jesus Christ he will get there!
I hope you all have a great week!
Don't forget who you are!, (a child of god)
