Saludos!! -it Rained a ton this week and we got dumped on -we had Zone Conference and we learned a lot about being a consecrated missionary. -We had Stake conference and we got a new Stake president!  This guy has already been a stake president in the same stake but there is a lack of worthy priesthood holders so he had to get called again haha. - Our friend Claudia has accepted to be baptized next week!   She has felt the spirit so strong and the holy ghost has helped her to know  the truthfulness of the Gospel! There is an inactive friend we have been working with and he came to church for the first time in over a year! I hope you have all had an amazing week, I am absolutely loving it here being in the service of the Lord!

I have 4 minutes to write this  -We put a lot of our friends on baptismal date this week. -One of our friends Adam was about to get baptized but then left the country for 2 week and when he came back he said he didn't like the BOM.  But we had a good lesson this week and hopefully he gets baptized  in 2 weeks ! -I gave a 2 minute talk in sacrament meeting -We found a lot of prepared people this week who are more than ready to get baptized! Yesterday our mission president asked all of us, what are some of the blessings that we have because we got baptized? I'd say the greatest gift of all is the holy ghost I literally have the spirit of God with me  24/7  as long as I live worthy. 4. And after they had been received unto baptism, and were wrought upon and cleansed by the power of the Holy Ghost, they were numbered among the people of the church of Christ; and their names were taken, that they might be remembered and nourished by the good word of God, to ke...

Week 37

Saludos!! Happy Easter! (yesterday) hope you all had a great week focused on Christ!  This week I studied a lot about the final week of the life of Jesus.  I learned a lot about the miracles he performed, the acts of service and especially about his suffering in the garden of Gethsemane  21 And he cometh into the world that he may save all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of Adam. The thought that he paid for all of my pains, comforteth my soul.  There is someone in my life who died for me!  And he didn't just die but he lived and conquered death! 8 But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.  9 He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endles...

Week 36

Villa Juana!! I made it here to Villa Juana!   This place is awesome, there are tons of people progressing and 6 people could be baptized right now, but the problem is that they need to get married lol.  For those of you who don't know, here in the DR people live together for 20 years and have tons of kids but they never get married.  Why? Because it costs a lot of money to get married and even more to get divorced. So the people are scared of the commitment because they don't want to lose a lot of money. Met the new comp- Elder Ford, he's an absolute beast and we had a killer week (shout out Elder Ford) I loved conference this week.  I loved in particular the talks that talked about Alma 36.  When it explains the joy that comes from Jesuc Christ.  And from repentance.   In this verse it explains it perfectly   21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I...
