  Week 15 This week was another lit week! This week started out pretty rough because nobody wanted to listen to our message, and I had some personal things going on.  But through sincere prayers and diligently reading in the scriptures I received an answer. Quick story: On Tuesday we got a call from Melissa saying that they were at the hospital because she was about to give birth to a really premature baby and she wanted us to give her a blessing of health and comfort.  We ordered an uber and rushed over to the hospital.  We got to the hospital  at 3:02  and tried to go meet her.  But the lady at the front desk wouldn't let us in because visiting times ended  at 3pm .  We explained our situation but she didn't care so we eventually left the building and ordered an uber to take us home.  At that point I was pretty upset about the situation and just not having it.  I remember standing on the curb waiting for an uber just feeling terri...

Week 14 I dont have much time sorry lol This week was a blast! We put 2 people on baptismal date that seem really interested! We had a bday party for one of the members! And lots of fun! I want to talk about our friend Carmelina. We were having our second lesson with her this week, and we taught her about the gospel of Jesus Christ.  While we were teaching I felt the spirit super strong and so did she.  Then she told us "I've been waiting for someone to tell me about what you’re talking about" She knew in that moment that this church really is the church of God! And the spirit never lies And I testify that the gospel of Jesus Christ really does bring happiness and power into your lives! Deuces, EL

  Week 13 Yooooo This Week was so dope! I got my new trainor Elder Willardsen this week. He's super dope and he's given me the opportunity to talk during lessons more and I feel like my Spanish skills have sky rocketed! Being on the mission is literally the best.  It's sure not easy but I love it! Sharing the gospel with people who haven't heard it yet is a different type of joy than I have ever felt in my life! Every single moment is a blessing and I have nothing but pure gratitud for this opportunity to serve the lord! I may not have the best teaching skills and talking to people is still a bit difficult but it is a pure blessing! This Week I noticed that our teaching pool is kind of small, so when my new comp got here,  I made sure that we were finding a lot.  This Week we had 170 contacts and 20 new good people that we are exited about.   We needed to change somethings around here.  First.... our house was disgusting.   Week 12! This Week was full of stuff! Week had 5 progression people assist church this week and they had a great time, and we met 8 more ready people this week! -We lost our keys to the apartment  on Friday night  and had to get them replaced And that took 2 days, so we went 2 days without entering our apartment😄 -Our transfers came! I'm staying in Nuevo Amanecer and my Trainer  Elder Neely is being transfered to the country side to be a District Leader over there. So I'll get a new Trainer over here, I think his name is Elder Wilkerson, I bet he'll be dope and I'm looking forward to grinding it out with him! Week 10,11 Holaaaaa Last week I didn't have time to write an email so I'll just write both of them. Week 10, This Week was pretty tough but we got through it, We had 12 people that we were really sure that were going to go to church this week. And every single one of them confined in us that they believe the Book of Mormon is true.  So we were pretty confident that they were going to go!  Or so we thought... only one person came lol. And their excuses were that they were tired lol.  I love Dominicans but man a lot of them aren't motivated to do anything lol.   A funny story happened the other day.  I was teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I was talking about faith in Jesus and how we can demonstrate our faith for him.  But instead I said, in spanish,"In what ways can you show your love for me".  It was silent for like 15 seconds because I was waiting on a response but then I realized something was wrong lol.  Then I looked over at...
