Week 9

 Hola!!

This week has gone by in the blink of an eye.
And I have more time to write so I can say more now.
The food here is amazing, mainly chicken beans and rice. Love it.  BUT... I do not like one of the foods here, and I guess it's everywhere. Aguacates (avocados). They are  so bad and nobody can convince me other wise.  They taste like chewy water and that's no bueno.

Tuesday:
We had exchanges with the zone leaders, Elder Fairbanks and Elder Vanenzuela.
I was with Elder Valenzuelain his area, Almirante.  That exchange was really fun and I learned a lot of Spanish because he's a native speaker.  During that intercambio (exchange) we put 4 people on date which was awesome.  I learned that lessons can be just as powerful even if they are really short like 10 minutes.  Also I learned to invite people to be baptized when the spirit is the strongest and it doesn't have to be at the end of a lesson.

Wednesday:
My Trainor was pretty sick that day, and I thought that we weren't going to get that much work in because he was sick, but he still went out and worked his magic and never complained once.  It's really inspiring to have a companion that really loves the missionary work and I aspire to be like him in that way

Thursday:
We put a kid named Aresel on baptismal date for next week!  This kid is really cool and I hope that after his baptism, his family will follow and be baptized!

Friday:
Was a fantastic day!
We were finding most of the time with one of our member friends, Hermano Rosario.
He is one of the coolest guys I know and he is always willing to help us out and find with us.  That day we had 10 member present lessons and put 3 people on date!

Saturday:
Was awesome and I witnessed el don de lenguas in my life (gift of tongues).  We were knocking doors and we had this lesson with a really cool guy about the restoración.  He had some questions if  the church was true and if Jospeh Smith was a real prophet of God.  Then I got to share my experience in the Sacrad Grove.  I was able to talk about it fluently in Spanish which was a huge miracle! I could feel the spirit putting words in my mouth and it's awesome to be worthy of such an amazing gift!

Sunday:
Was my third Sunday here... wow, time flies.  During this week we invited 14 people to church and 12 of them said yes but only 2 of them actually came lol.

Anyways it was a very good and busy week and I have narrowed down on the things that I need to improve on next week.  So that way I’m always improving!
